• Woodmansterne

The proposed industrial action by members of the ASLEF union on Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 July has now been suspended and East Midlands Trains will now run a normal service

Hunts Cross, Liverpool South Parkway, St Michaels, Brunswick, Liverpool Central, Moorfields, Seaforth & Litherland, Formby, Hillside and Southport

Because of emergency engineering work, caused by earlier flooding in the St Michaels area, buses are replacing trains between Hunts Cross and Liverpool Central, extending journey times by up to 30 minutes

Until 2012, there are no 'cross-London' services between St Pancras International and London Bridge/Herne Hill at weekends, bank holidays or between 22.30 and 04.30 every week night (See below for a list of dates on which a cross London service WILL operate). This work is a key part of the Thameslink programme

During this time, customers should use London Underground (or London Buses at weekends only) to cross Central London. Outside London Underground operating hours, replacement buses will be provided between London Blackfriars / London Bridge and London St Pancras

Until Autumn 2011, London Blackfriars Underground station will be closed. Customers should travel to Temple / Mansion House / City Thameslink stations which are close to Blackfriars. London Blackfriars mainline station remains open during this time

At weekends, replacement buses will also run between Tulse Hill / Herne Hill and London Blackfriars via Loughborough Junction and Elephant & Castle

A cross-London train service WILL run on the following days:
