It’s generally recommended to arrive at the station at least 15 to 30 minutes before your train departs to check the platform, locate your coach, and get settled.  

If you’re taking the Eurostar or trains within Spain, there may be security checks or passport control, so it’s best to arrive even earlier—at least an extra 30 minutes—to be safe.
