The Ease Sale: All-Europe Rail Pass 50% Off, Interrail Global Pass

The moment you step onto the train, you stop being anyone's employee, anyone's child, anyone's partner. You are yourself.

"It was not only a journey to discover places but also myself. I recommend this journey to fragile souls, to strong warriors, to those who still don't have their own path."

This isn't a travel brochure, it's a travel diary. Some frames will be blurry, some plans will fall apart, but the out-of-focus shot that captures how you felt in that moment is worth keeping far more than the sharp, perfectly composed photo that captures nothing at all.

Passes with a validity of one month or longer are 50% off. All other validities are 15% off. It's the biggest discount in four years!

Whether you're planning to spend a whole month exploring Europe or a shorter, more focused trip, this sale has you covered.

The sale window is just one week. Miss it, and you'll be waiting five years.

Rail Pass Basics

The Basics
Train ticket = Ticket + Seat reservation
Holding a rail pass counts as holding your "ticket," but some trains still require a separate "seat reservation" before you can board.
Point-to-point tickets already include a reservation
Most "point-to-point" train tickets already include both the ticket and the seat reservation, so you can board directly after purchase.
Three reservation statuses (as shown in the Rail Planner App)

Mandatory Reservation
Seat reservations required
You cannot board this train without a reservation. You must purchase one in advance to board.
Common examples: France's TGV, Spain's AVE, Italy's Frecciarossa, overnight trains, and some scenic trains in Switzerland

Reservation required

Reservation Depends on the Route
Seat reservations optional
Certain seasons or routes may switch to mandatory reservations. Check the country guide in the Rail Planner App under More → Rail Network Guides.

Please double-check

Reservation Recommended
Seat reservations recommended
Usually on popular routes or long-distance trains, reserving a seat is a good idea when trains get busy. You can still board without one.

No reservation needed

Do You Need a Rail Pass?

👉🏼 Heading to countries that don't require advance reservations, such as Germany, Switzerland, or the Netherlands

👉🏼 Planning 3 or more long-distance train journeys

👉🏼 Besides being better value, you don't need to plan your exact train times in advance, you can flexibly choose any train on your travel day.

👉🏼 On special trains, you only pay a lower "reservation fee" instead of the full fare, such as on night trains or scenic trains
