Interrail has unveiled a new brand promise: The Interrail Effect. The deeper the journey, the more it changes you. This spirit goes back to 1959, when several European countries came together to create a train ticket that let travellers cross borders freely, with no fixed route and no fixed destination. The journey itself was always the point.
Nearly 70 years on, Eurail and Interrail have become one: travellers around the world now explore Europe on a single Interrail Pass. This time, we want to hear your answer to one question:
If a journey were not just about taking you to more places, but about seeing Europe more deeply, how would you design it?
This time, we invite you to design a European rail journey using an Interrail Pass. It can be a journey you have already taken or one you hope to make in the future. Beyond the route and transportation arrangements, we would also like to know: Why did you choose to travel this way? Which part of the journey best represents freedom, deeper exploration, and transformation?
Submission period: Participants must upload their travel itinerary by 23:59 on October 30, 2026.
Winners announced: The two winners will be announced on this page on November 11, 2026.
Eligibility
- Travellers who hold, or plan to purchase, an Interrail Pass (Global Pass or any one-country pass)（待確認：是否需為 GoByTrain 購票客戶）
- Must have added GoByTrain's official LINE account
- Your itinerary must genuinely use the Interrail Pass, whether for train travel itself or the pass's partner discounts (ferries, attractions, and more)
A few notes before you submit
- Your itinerary doesn't have to be a future plan. A trip you've already taken and loved, or one you'd improve with hindsight, is just as welcome.
- Don't worry about how polished it looks. What matters is the itinerary itself — a handwritten draft, photographed or scanned, works fine.
- Specific train times usually aren't important, unless you're riding a special service (a panoramic or sleeper train, for example).

How we'll judge it
We're not counting stops or measuring how packed the itinerary is. We're looking for depth: a moment you truly slowed down for, a change the journey made in you, and a route that stays flexible instead of locked to a rigid plan. Entries generated with AI assistance will be judged at our discretion.
Prizes Two winners will each receive one Interrail Global Pass.
