Sunnegga – Rothorn : 🟢Beginner / 🔵Intermediate

Sunny with stunning landscapes—perfect for families and beginner-to-intermediate skiers.

• Wolli Beginners Park : Located at Sunnegga, equipped with magic carpets and gentle slopes, making it the top choice for beginners and kids.
• Iconic View : Take the cable car to the summit of Rothorn for an extraordinary angle of the Matterhorn’s signature pyramid peak.
• Best For : Beginners, families, and skiers who love cruising in the sun while taking in breathtaking views.

Gornergrat – Riffelberg : 🔵 Intermediate / 🔴 Advanced

Famous for its magnificent train-side alpine scenery, featuring long, smooth blue and red runs ideal for intermediate skiers and those looking to refine their technique.

• Piste 36 (Riffelberg – Riffelalp) :
  • Terrain Experience: Features an open upper section with consistent snow quality, transitioning into a beautiful tree-lined slope winding through high-altitude pine forests on the lower half.
  • Matterhorn View: Directly facing the Matterhorn, skiing down feels as if you are heading straight toward the peak—an incredible visual thrill and a prime spot for capturing action photos and mountain landscapes.
• Best For : Intermediate skiers and visitors who enjoy scenic cogwheel train rides and sweeping glacier panoramas.

Matterhorn Glacier Paradise ( Klein Matterhorn ) : 🔴 Advanced / 🖤 Expert

Europe's highest ski area, offering rich glacier terrain and challenging slopes for advanced skiers seeking a thrill (not recommended for beginners). On clear days, you can even ski into Italy (cross-border pass required).

• Extreme Altitude : Reaching 3,883 meters, offering close-up views of the majestic Matterhorn and vistas extending to the French Alps.
• Furggsattel Snowpark : Features a snowpark that attracts freestyle and snowboard enthusiasts.
• Schwarzsee Area : Situated right at the foot of the Matterhorn, offering challenging intermediate and advanced runs.

• Best For : Intermediate-to-advanced skiers, snowboarders, and those seeking a high-altitude glacier skiing experience.
