Corvatsch Return Ticket

Piz Corvatsch stands at 3,303 meters above sea level. From the summit, enjoy breathtaking views of the Biancograt ridge on Piz Bernina. At the top, you'll also find the famous ORMA Whisky Distillery and Bar.

From the mid-station Murtel, you can hike a scenic panoramic trail to Furtschellas, a hiker’s paradise known for its six alpine lakes.

If your trip takes you to St. Moritz, take the Corvatsch cable car up to a middle station and enjoy an easy hike in the Upper Engadin lake district. All four routes below start from a middle station, and you don't need to go all the way to the summit to take in the lakes and mountain scenery: there's a family-friendly trail linking six small lakes, a panoramic downhill walk, a forest-fringed lake, and a short route with a mountain restaurant stop for when the weather is uncertain. Pick the one that suits your energy and the day's conditions.

Water Trail

A family-friendly trail linking six blue-green mountain lakes. It starts at the Furtschellas middle station with a steeper first stretch, then passes the six lakes in turn. To shorten the route, take the left fork at the first junction straight to Lejin Malachit.

Panoramic Trail: Murtèl to Sils

A downhill trail high above the lakes of Upper Engadin. Enjoy views of Lake Silvaplana, Lake Sils and Piz da la Margna, then continue through mountain forest via Alp Prasüra to Sils.

Hahnensee

A tranquil lake surrounded by Swiss pines and firs. From the Murtèl middle station, the trail passes Lej da la Fuorcla down to the lake, where a restaurant makes a good rest stop, then descends steeply through forest to St. Moritz-Bad.

The Alpetta Hike

An easy hike to a mountain restaurant with a sun terrace. Follow a gently curving path to the Alpetta restaurant at Margun Surlej, then descend through larch forest to Surlej. It's not too long, which makes it a good choice if the weather is uncertain.
