① Pass ≠ Seat Reservation

The pass covers your rail fare. However, mandatory seat reservations on specific premium scenic trains (such as designated GoldenPass Express seats) require a separate fee.

② Must Be Used on Consecutive Days

The Berner Oberland Pass options (e.g., 3, 4, 6, 8, or 10 days) must be used on consecutive calendar days starting from your activation date. Non-consecutive or flexible-day options are not available.

③ Extensions Beyond Bernese Oberland

For travel outside the regional boundary (e.g., onwards to Zermatt or Zurich), please buy a point-to-point ticket for the extra segment.
